Welcoming Michel Lussault, the director of IFÉ, has just be nominated as the president of the Higher French Council of Teaching Programs (on the picture, with the French Ministry of Education) He is currently in Canada to reinforce the links between Sherbrooke University and IFÉ/ENS de Lyon. Sherbrooke and ECNU, two privileged partners of IFÉ, particularly in the field of teacher development. Michel Lussault is very sorry for not being here, warmly welcomes the colleagues from ECNU, and wishes to all of us a successful seminar.

The French-Chinese Lab for Comparing Curricula in Science Education (C2SE) was a collaborative project of IFE ENS Lyon and ECNU in the frame of the JoRISS platform, involving Pr. Ghislaine Gueudet (UBO, France and Pr. Birgit Pepin. The context of an international scientific curriculum renewal: introduction of competences; recommendations of implementation of Inquiry Based Science Education (IBSE); redefinition of content and practices related to the introduction of digital instruments. Three levels of analysis and comparison: - at macro level: looking at institutional prescriptions often focusing on IBSE (articulating several dimensions: didactical, organisational, historical and sociological); - at micro/macro level: looking at textbooks and resources used/designed by teachers, identifying structuring resources as well as missing resources; - at micro level: looking at the actual uses of digital resources for STEM.
