Journal – According to Edgar Allan Poe, “Poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words.” In a paragraph, describe in detail the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen, read, heard, etc. Be specific and very detailed.

Bellringer 9/5/ Good and bad are adjectives; well and badly are adverbs. Write the sentence with the word that is correct in the context of the sentence: 1.My cousin Danetra is a good / well singer. 2. She sings very good / well. 3. Danetra’s dream is to be a famous dancer; she wants it bad / badly. 4. Unfortunately, though, she is really bad / badly at dancing. Journal – In a paragraph, describe the things that irritate you and get under your skin. Explain why.
