The course Example from The MFL PGCE at The University of York*:
Traditional PGCE route = generally 1/3 of course spent in University and 2/3 of course in school (across 2 contrasting placements) *Course content and structure will vary for each ITE provider

Assessment Mentor and Professional Tutor in school regularly review progress against the TSs Course tutor who will quality assure and visit to see you teach Self assessment: own evidence of meeting the TSs via files / online sharing of documentation Subject Knowledge Development and Linguistic Accuracy *Submission of M level assignments
