2 What is a Coat of Arms? A design belonging to a particular group of people. A coat of arms is distinct & unique for each group. May be based on the history or legacies of the group.

6 Your task: Create a coat of arms that represents you and who you are
It must include at least a shield and a motto Everything on your coat of arms must have a reason for being there A one-page rationale (APA) to support your coat of arms You must be able to present it as well
