Year 10 – Wednesday 5th March and Friday 7th March Year 11 – Friday 7th March and Monday 10th March We will use this data to plan future revision in lessons and intervene with students. Students have received past papers to practice at home. Celebration and results day Year 10 – Thursday 10th April Year 11 – Friday 11th April

Revision Pack Each student receives a revision pack which is personalised to the exam they are taking. Each pack contains: Revision timetable. Work book. Revision guide. Mathswatch CD. (Collected in at the end of the year)

Using the revision pack – Revision Guide
Written by the examiners Contains key information and worked examples on each topic. Specific to the exam students will be taking at the end of the year.

Using the revision pack – Work book
The relevant pages from the timetable should be completed each day. The revision guide can be used to revise a topic before answering. Answers are in the back.

The answers are in the back of the book. These are designed for parents to mark the answers with the students. Using the books encourages independent learning.

How can students improve their chances of success?
Our experience shows that students who utilise the revision pack are more successful in the exam. Homework- completing all homework. Practising the skills taught in lesson will help students remember it in the exam. Attendance –regular attendance to school and maths lessons will increase the chances of your child’s success.

Using familiar equipment can reduce stress on the day. We recommend the following equipment.
