1 Non Food Category Good afternoon - My name is Tony Picou, VP of Client Services for Advantage Sales. Mr. David Morgan, Category Sales Development Manager for Nestle Purina Pet Care and I will be facilitating the Non Food breakout session. Over the next hour your Non Food Category Managers will share their strategic direction and exciting ideas to grow the business. A pad and pen have been placed on each chair for you to use during this break out session and the rest of the conference. Thank you to David and Nestle Purina Pet Care for supplying these. A couple of top line points: In FY 2013 DeCA sales were just short of $5.9B. Of that Non Food sales contributed approximately…… 23.3% Sales trends in the major categories do not necessarily mirror what we see outside the gate However, we are beginning to see some categories turn around and todays breakout sessions will bring us all up to date on how we can continue to partner with DeCA to ensure the sales trends keep moving in the right direction while providing this much needed and deserved benefit to our military community worldwide.
