Early Notification of Wrexham U3A Annual General Meeting
The AGM will be held on the 20th March 2018 at 2.00pm at Glyndwr University
Nomination forms for Officers /Committee Members for 2018/19 and agenda item proposal forms are now available in hard copy contained in this news letter and at the monthly meeting or can be downloaded from the Wrexham U3A website.
Any nominations or proposals must be returned duly completed to the Secretary no later than the 31st January 2018 otherwise they will not be accepted.

4. WREXHAM U3A, OCTOBER 2017
The Wales Gene Park is holding a free public event aimed at over 50's in Wrexham on Tues 24 October. 
A public event about DNA, genetics and genomics  Tuesday 24th October 2017, 10am - 2pm
Featured talks include: o       The ABC of DNA (Dr Sue Assinder, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine)   o       Feeding and Healing the World through Plant Genetic Technologies (Dr Geraint Parry, GARNet, Cardiff University) o       DNA Analysis in Forensic Science (Dr Amy Rattenbury, Glyndwr University)  o       Bowel Cancer in Wales: challenges and opportunities (Dr Lee Campbell, Cancer Research Wales)

The event is aimed at members of the public over 50, but everyone is welcome!

I am enquiring if you have any requirements for group transport for groups in the UK.
