SEMINAR 1. Title : Integration and characterization of long term stable novel graphene devices 2. Speaker : Byoung Hun Lee 3. Time : 16:00~17:00 4. Place :: e+ Lecture Hall (room 83188), 2nd Research Building, Sungkyunkwan University 5. Summary : The electronic applications of graphene have been stalled by a few roadblocks, including the poor quality of CVD graphene, the instability of graphene device, and a small on-of ratio due to a limited or zero bandgap. In this talk, a proper integration processes to stabilize the graphene devices will be presented along with a few novel electronic characterization methods. Finally, recent progresses in the graphene device applications including highly sensitive graphene photodetector and ternary logic switch will be introduced. 6 Background : ■ Education 1997–2000 The Univ. of Texas at Austin (Ph.D., Electrical and Computer Engineering) 1989–1992 KAIST, Korea (M.S., Physics) 1986–1989 KAIST, Korea (B.S., Physics) ■ Work Experience 2008– GIST (Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology), Professor Dean, Office of International and Public Affairs Director, Center for Emerging Electronic Devices and Systems Director, Touch Industry Cluster development program 2007–2008 Program Manager, Emerging Technology Program, SEMATECH, USA 2001–2007 Senior Scientist, IBM, USA 2003– Program Manager, Advanced Gate Stack Program, SEMATECH, USA 2004– Co-director, FEP Transition Center, SRC-SEMATECH, USA 2001– Lead Integrator, 65nm HP FEOL integration, IBM, USA 1997–2000 SRC Graduate fellow, The UT at Austin, USA 1991–1997 SAMSUNG Electronics, Korea
