2. Introduction
This presentation addresses technical features of the Web Architecture Redesign Project (WARP) Phase II Sandbox and areas which impact ISO New England’s participants.
The goal of this presentation is to provide participants with an understanding of the software features in both the upcoming WARP Phase II Sandbox and subsequent production environments so they can be proactive in preparing for changes.

8. What is Sandbox?
The Sandbox is an environment in which participants can test the functionality of software not yet delivered to a production environment.
It is a pre-production “playground” for participants to exercise their own software before changes are migrated to production.

10. Sandbox Details
The Sandbox architecture is a scaled-down version of the production environment.
- Miniature
- Less “horse-power”
Contains a pre-release version of the functionality that will be available in production.
The current Sandbox released on December 27th and is accessible through the following URL:

12. What Sandbox is Not!
The Sandbox is not a production environment for WARP!
The Sandbox is subject to regular and unscheduled outages for builds, upgrades, and maintenance.
It is an area meant to test functionality and scripts, not the accuracy of production-quality data:
- Data may not be regularly refreshed
- Data may be cached
- At times, data may be unavailable!

13. What Sandbox is Not!
ISO New England will attempt to minimize sandbox downtime and attempt to give notification for significant changes one day or more in advance.
Connection problems to Sandbox should be tried again later before calling ISO New England.
