Data rates are different for versions a/b/g/n using 1 or more channels For this course you are allowed to use 1 channel ONLY! => limit the bandwith! Problem: what channel to use!

Left fixed bits Subnet mask Start address End address /8 8 /24 24 /24 /32 32 example / = the number of fixed left bits of the 32 bit address (IPv4) Network mask
