3. ID Bands
Immediately after birth, infants receive two ID bands. One on the wrist; one on the ankle
These ID bands and numbers match the mother and father’s ID bands

4. Security Sensors Applied to one ankle
Doors lock and alarm sounds if infant comes within 10 feet
Alarm sounds if sensor is cut. Special device and code required to remove it

5. Question: The pediatrician asks you to go to the mother’s room and bring the baby to the nursery for examination. Can you do it? Answer: No! You must have a special high-security badge. New mothers have been instructed never to give their baby to anyone without one
