5 Program Information SIRI is offered twice a year Fall Semester
September to January Students will enroll in CS461 for Fall Quarter Spring Semester February to June Students will enroll in CS461 for Winter Quarter

6 Application Requirements
USA citizen or permanent resident At least 18 years old Cal Poly GPA 3.0 or better Completion of CS241 is preferred Provide hours per week regularly for the period of the program Attend all Friday afternoon meetings and training sessions

8 Skills Required General Project dependent
Critical thinking, creativity, curiosity Good communication skills Project dependent Python, C/C++ Matlab programming Java, Objective C, eclipse, XML, UML, SVN Unix, Perl, GNU parallel Knowledge of cloud computing, software security techniques, image processing, etc.
