What is Physics? Physics is the general analysis of nature, conducted in order to understand how the universe behaves.
4
Why study Physics? Physics is often considered to be the most fundamental of all the sciences. In order to study any other natural science, one should have a firm understanding of the principles of physics. When understood, physics can help us to be better decision makers to determine the best design, the best tool, or the best process.

“My boss loves physics students because of the logical training acquired during the studies… .
Fast learning and the ability to pick up new things and ideas are the attributes of physics students. Physics training provides me a good sense of understanding on new stuffs. … I am grateful I was trained in physics which shapes my thinking and develops my problem solving skills a lot.” Stella Mui BSc (Radiation and Health Physics) MPhil (Semiconductor Physics)
