Reforming the current portals
The current Suomi.fi citizens portal and EnterpriseFinland.fi business portal will be thoroughly transformed and uniformly delivered under the Suomi.fi brand The upcoming Suomi.fi will be role-based = you use the portal as either citizen or entrepreneur / certified rep. of a business The new Suomi.fi aims at personal service. Through strong authentication, the customer receives tailored service information, official communications, personal register data and service suggestions and recommendations. Service information consists of structured and harmonized service and service channel descriptions = Finnish Service Catalogue (FSC) data model and database. Standardized FSC compliant service descriptions will become mandatory for public sector service providers later this year.

Finnish Service Catalogue basic principle: service information as modular data

FSC vs CPSV-AP and Finnish-Estonian mapping
We aim at a solution that will be seamlessly interoperable with the CPSV-AP. The main segments and mandatory fields in the FSC have already been mapped to CPSV-AP and found to be nicely compatible. Finnish and Estonian catalogue teams met a few weeks ago and decided to attempt a cross-border service catalogue mapping later this year.
