6. SOFTBALL VOLUNTEERS
WE REQUIRE A VARIETY OF VOLUNTEERS TO DELIVER THE SOFTBALL COMPETITION
x8 Officials (teams provide own umpire)
x32 Sport Crew (assisting with the delivery of the competition)
x8 Games Crew (assisting with athlete services)
There are also a variety of volunteer roles assisting with general athlete services, based primarily at the Games Entertainment Hub (central CBD)

7. BEING A WMG2017 VOLUNTEER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Be available for a minimum of four shifts in the Games-period (a shift lasts up to 8 hours)
Be at least 17 years of age (as at Dec ), or by exception if endorsed by sport
Complete an online application
Consent to NZ Police Vetting
Attend an in-person interview
Attend training and able to collect your own uniform and accreditation pass
