Taking a leap of faith… I would be the only American on the trek
No one to train with Only 70 days to prepare 45lbs over weight Had not hiked in over a decade I would only meet my team mates at the Toronto Airport the day we flew to Nepal. I would have to raise $5,000 for charity I had injured myself days before and couldn’t even do sit-ups because of the pain in my abdomen

Key Lessons… Listen to your gut… “I’ll figure it out as a I go.”
Learn how to ask for help… $5,800 When you think you have nothing left, you are wrong. When the mountain you are facing in mother nature or life is too daunting… look at your feet and just focus on the very next step. Better is always possible…. Believe and breathe. The victory of refusing to quit… victory beer. Believe in yourself, visualize your future and systematically work to achieve your goals.

Fears… Fear is what keeps us paralyzed
Your unconscious beliefs drive most of your fears Trauma stored in the body can keep you anchored in fear and anchored in the past Get clear on your fear so you know what you need to overcome Everything that you want, that you don’t yet have is outside your comfort zone. You MUST get comfortable facing fear if you want to create your ideal life.

Goal Setting…. Get clear on what you want… then set tangible, actionable goals with deadlines… 30 day goals 3 month goals 6 month goals 9 month goals 1 year goals Assign an accountability partner… and keep yourself accountable. Honor your commitment to yourself.

Final Thoughts… Be clear on who you are and what you want
Be clear on what you WILL and what you will NOT accept in your life Believe in yourself and trust that all will unfold for your highest good Consistent Action… yet release forcing the HOW Gratitude for what you currently have Balance in your life is key Compassion and self love as you take this journey
