4. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SEAL OF OUR SALVATION
In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory Ephesians 1:13–14
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. Romans 8:16–17

5. THE HOLY SPIRIT TEACHES US
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine John 16:13–15

6. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS OUR PARACLETE
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defence —Jesus Christ, the Righteous One John 2:1

7. He helps us pray
We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.
Romans 8:26-27

8. He gives us strength and endurance during trials
“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being...”
Ephesians 3:16

9. He gives us Joy
You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.
