Questions What is motion? How can motion be described? Notes Motion is a change in an objects position (which happens over time) Uniform motion (object is moving in a specific direction at a constant speed) Constant Velocity: Object travels equal distances in equal amounts of time, in a specific direction Non-uniform motion (object may be speeding up or slowing down) Acceleration: A description of the rate of change of an object’s velocity)
