2. What did the Angels really mean when they said this?
Luke 2:10) Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.
11) “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
14) “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

3. Did it mean that finally we will have peace on Earth
Did it mean that finally we will have peace on Earth? Or maybe just for one day, we think of others and give instead of receive? Maybe it is the feeling we get when we attend church for the second time this year? Or maybe it is a time we just stop, slow down and think about the reason for the season?

4. What is the great joy and peace on earth goodwill toward men
What is the great joy and peace on earth goodwill toward men? What is this glory???? Why is a Savior, born in Bethlehem such exciting news? Is it the chance to bring in the Kingdom? Well yes and no, as good as that would be though it is eclipsed by an even greater plan of God.

Acts 2:22) “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know– 23) “Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death;

6. Isa 53:10) Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.
So what is the great message of Christmas, really?

7. 2 Cor 5:19) that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
21) For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
20) Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

8. The Christmas message is so much more than what most portray it as
The Christmas message is so much more than what most portray it as. It is this: Jesus is the last Adam. Just like the first Adam, all under this new Adam, are now part of a new race of men. Those under this last Adam are new creations in Christ Jesus (the last Adam)

9. The old Adam is dead, crucified with Christ
The old Adam is dead, crucified with Christ. Since the cross, this new race of people are being prepared for a Kingdom and a new Heaven and earth..
It is literally two races of men;
One dead, one alive One is flesh, one is Spirit One under law, one under grace. One under the old covenant,
one under the new covenant!

10. Explain????
Genesis 2:17) “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
3:6) So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

11. 7) Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
19) In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.”

From “that Adam” we inherited, by transference, everything related to death.

13. Rom5:12) Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned–
18) Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation,
19) For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners,

14. 15 For if by the one man’s offense many died, 16 For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, 17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, 20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound.

15. Yet it is much worse!
Rom 7:8) But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire. For apart from the law sin was dead.
10) And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death.

16. 24) O wretched man that I am
24) O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? You can’t hope to not sin, for you already have. You can’t hope to keep some law code Rom 3:20) Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

17. You can’t hope for leniency “for without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness”
The born again into the new Adam experience is a total nature change. We become the righteousness of God!
2 Cor 5:17) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Gal 3:22) the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
