Pre-mix solution is stored in a pressurized vessel (typically at 250 psi).
Only requires opening a single valve for operation (manual or automatic w/detection).
Good for Class a, b, and k fires – alcohol resistant afff can be used for class b applications.
Expansion ration of approximately 10:1.
ten-year shelf life; limited maintenance of system.
Maximum extinguishing time of two minutes for any size storage tank.
Can be used for tank farms, power stations, mines, fire response vehicles, etc.
Can be set up with a manifold system for several tanks.
Can be mounted on a trailer and moved to site of a tank fire.
