1. Hebrews 1:1-4
“God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they” (NKJV).

2. Why Jesus Is Worthy of Praise
I. He Made the Worlds.
A. He created all things ( Col. 1:16).
B. God created all things by Jesus Christ (John 1:3).
II. He Upholds All Things By His Word.
A. In Christ all things consist (Col. 1:17).
B. Worlds were framed by His word (Heb. 11:3).
C. They are kept by the same word (2 Peter 3:7).

3. Why Jesus Is Worthy of Praise
III. He Is the Brightness of God’s Glory.
A. In Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Col. 2:9).
B. He reveals God’s glory to man (John 1:14).
IV. He Is the Express Image of His Person.
A. He is the image of the invisible God (Col. 1:15).
B. He is God (John 1:1).

4. Why Jesus Is Worthy of Praise
V. He Has Purged Our Sins.
A. He has redeemed us (Eph. 1:7).
B. He cleanses from all sin (1 John 1:7).
VI. He Is at the Right Hand of the Father.
A. He is our High Priest (Heb. 8:1-2).
B. He is our sacrifice (Heb. 10:12-14).
C. He is the author and finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:1-2).
