Apprenticeship- a person who is under obligation to work for his master for a period of time for which he receives his masters instruction for his profession, art, or occupation
The apprentice is usually bound by a personal contract
The term for an apprentice can be up to 7 years. So if you were fourteen your term would end when you turn twenty one
The apprenticeship could be broken but by mutual consent

During the Victorian age this concept was very popular in businesses
An apprentice working for more than 12 hours for his master was considered unreasonable
#Interestingfactiod: in the 18th century craftsmanship was considered as slavery
#Interestingfactiod2: 55% of those taking part in an apprenticeship are females
Most young apprentices started working when they were years old
