Results of initial ecosystems services reviewed by Implementation Group: Medium value of woodlands and grasslands in sub-region: capitalised value £72.4 Million per year Aiming to assess value of wetlands 2015/16 Tame Valley Wetlands HLF Landscapes Partnership lead by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, started July major projects completed by partners Funding application submitted to HLF re Princethorpe Woodlands landscape project Sept 14 Health and environment projects per district supported by WCC Public Health Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull Local Nature Partnership

Delivery examples 3 year Landscape scale project funded by Natural England, completed March 2015 £110,000 grant, assisted in securing £1.7 Million HLF grant Tame Valley Wetlands and £170,000 Development grant for Princethorpe Woodlands Landscape area. Delivered 0.6 ha meadow enhancements, over 1.2 km hedgerow restored, 2 pond restored in 2014 Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull Local Nature Partnership

Water quality work Catchment based approach for Warwickshire Avon – co hosts Severn Rivers Trust and Warwickshire Wildlife Trust: 2 stakeholder workshops held autumn 2014 Tame Anker Mease catchment: partner meetings held. Funding secured for Defra Catchment partnership project in Coventry Coventry Brookstray report digitised and projects progressed Ensuring we have up to date data that monitors the health of our environment Ensuring we use that data to analyse and to develop our response to impacts on natural world Vey importantly to work in partnership, as no organisation can alone address the issues we face Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull Local Nature Partnership

Proposal re Board for 2015/16 Board membership 2015/16 The following proposals are made with regard to the Board membership. We ask the LNP conference to accept these. 1) The current Board members (list circulated) are willing and available to continue on the Board. Some members have joined during the past year and their appointment is approved by the Board. We propose that this is accepted. Please indicate if you are in agreement. 2) For noting and accepting: Vacancies on the Board: There is currently a vacancy for a member from the Business sector. This is open for applications until 1st October currently. We welcome enquiries for this place on the Board. Advert available. 2. There is currently a vacancy for a member from the LEPs. We propose to contact both Coventry and Warwickshire and Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEPs to request nominations for one member to join the Board.
