Even and Odd functions A function is even if f(-x)=f(x) A function is odd if f(-x)=-f(x) 1. Example: Show that f(x)=x6 -2x2+3 is even, odd or neither. 2. Example: Show that f(x)=x3-5 is even, odd or neither. 3.
