The solution can come from technology, business, education and law. Software was the first digital product to be widely copied.

What is DRM?? Collection of techniques that control uses of intellectual property in digital format DRM includes HW and SW The ability to limit the duration of use. Blocking the copy or print or save functions.

The Criticism On The DRM
Preventing the fair-use No right to lend or resell. DRM doesn’t really protecting.

International Piracy Some countries do not recognize or protect intellectual property Countries that have high piracy rates often do not have a significant software industry The fact that the victims is from a foreign country! Software piracy is the illegal copying, distribution, or use of software.

Activity Give example on software piracy ?
So for examples, just think of any software you or someone you know bought. Then think of someone using that same software they acquired without paying. They are using pirated software. Art programs, music programs, games, etc.. are popular.
