2 Bartek (tree)- a natural monument
Bartek is an ancient oak tree, one of the oldest in Poland. It is more than 600 years old. It grows in Zagnańsk near Kielce in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. The 33,5-metre tall Bartek measures 970 cm and 13.5 metres in girth at its base. Its crown spreads about 40 metres.

3 Birch - Betula pendula Deciduous tree
Birch species are generally small to medium-sized trees or shrubs, mostly of northern temperate climates. It has got distunguished white bark.

4 Beech Deciduous tree Beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) grows up to 40 meters.
In Poland only a common beech grows naturally.

5 European Hornbeam, Carpinus betulus
Deciduous tree Common hornbeam (Carpinus betulus L.) usually grows up to 25 meters high, creating dense round crown.

6 Wild Cherry Deciduous tree
Wild Cherry (Prunus avium L.) rarely exceed 20 m in height. It blooms in early spring.

7 Maple Deciduous tree Maple grows to about m high and m in width. The leaves change colour in autumn for golden brown.

8 Linden Deciduous tree Linden (Tilia) - a kind of long-lived tree belonging to the family Melvaceae. The flowers are usually fragrant white and yellow in colour.

9 Alder Alder is a species of trees and shrubs, few reaching large size. It is distributed in the temperate climate Deciduous tree

10 Poplar A species of tree, which can grow metres high and with a trunk up to 2,5 metres in diameter. Deciduous tree

11 Willow Willow trees and shrubs are found in Norhern Hemisphere in temperate climane Deciduos tree

12 Elm Elms are components of many kinds of natural forests Deciduous tree

13 Ash The seeds are very characteristic and are commonly known as „keys” or „halicopters” Deciduous tree

14 Yew Conifer Yew (Taxus baccata L.) as a tree grows up to 12 (exceptionally 15) meters in height. Crown takes on different shapes, depending on the ambient conditions.

15 Fir Conifer Fir (Abies alba Mill.) The species is typically found in the mountains. Under good conditions it grows up to 50 meters high, creating narrow and column like crown.

16 Pine Conifer Pine coniferous tree in the genus Pinus in the family Pinaceae. Pine trees are evergreen conifers resinous (or, more rarely, shrubs) growing 3-80 m ( ft) tall, with the majority of species reaching m ( ft).

17 Larch Conifer The trees reach a height of 40 m and have a broad crown, which is composed of horizontally growing branches.

18 Spruce Conifer Spruce (Picea A. Dietr.) - sort of evergreen trees of the pine family (Pinaceae), which includes about 35 species

19 Douglas Fir Conifer These trees form a regular, broadly conical crown. They are among the highest in the world and reach a height of over 100 meters.
