2. Introductions & Hello
To say How’s it going the French use the expression Comment ça va? (comb mon sa va)
There are many possible responses to this including: ça va bien(bee en – well) ça va mal (m’al – badly) ça va très bien (tray bee en – very well) ça va très mal (tray m’al – very badly) ça va comme ci comme ça (comb see comb sa – so so) terrible (tear ee bleuh – terrible) and pas mal (pah m’al – not bad) pas mal does not need the ça va with it.

4. Les Conversations
With a partner you are going to do the conversation out loud. This will be your first oral points grade!

5. Les Devoirs
Each of you is going to have a French landmark or point of interest that you will do a very brief report on. There will be some important information that you will need to look up and then you will need to create a digital format that we can view on the computer while you are doing your presentation. You will need to start gathering information for this now and then we will work on it in class next Wednesday.
