What Does the Tool Do? The PLACE Mapping Tool allows public health professionals with limited mapping experience to view their own data on a map. The tool requires no installation. It runs from a thumb drive, through a series of dialogue boxes that walk the user through the process, even if they have never used a GIS.

Map also displays to a screen in QGIS Data can be viewed, formatted, and analyzed and manipulated in QGIS, if desired
