Like a noun, a pronoun can be used as the subject of a sentence
Like a noun, a pronoun can be used as the subject of a sentence. Remember that the subject tells whom or what the sentence is about. Not all pronouns can be used as subjects. Only the subject pronouns I, you, he, she, it, we, and they can be used as the subjects of a sentence. Subject Pronouns Singular: I, you, he, she, and it Plural: we, you, and they

Bill is only four years old. (he, you) Aunt Sue has found toys to help Jill learn. (she, I) This toy teaches children to tell time. (it, they) Those toys are for making music. (we, they) Jill showed Bill a brand-new toy. (you, she) Jill and I will play with the toy. (they, we) This puzzle was a map of the fifty states (it, they) My brother and I also have paints(we, he) Uncle Kory told Jill about the toy. (he, we)

Jason, why did the man keep wasps in the closet? The man had a good reason. The wasps were yellow jackets! Now I will ask one. Can you guess why the fly landed on the toast? The fly wanted to be a butterfly! I have another joke. Why did the woman call the insect expert? The woman was sick with a bug! These jokes are funny. My father will love them!
