Communal areas.

Bedrooms Different sized rooms with double or triple bunks. Girls and boys will sleep in separate areas with staff sleeping in adjacent rooms. Children can choose friends they would like to share a room with and we will try and accommodate.

Activity Programme Wednesday 18th October
Arrive at school 8:50am. Depart School – 9:30am Walk to High Adventure Arrive around 11am (Cars will take all bags to the centre) Split into 3 groups for rest of the day. Each group will 3 from 4 activities led by High Adventure Staff: Team Building Archery Low Ropes Bouldering Settle in to dorms. Evening meal Labyrinth activity led by High Adventure Staff

Activity Programme Thursday 19th October Breakfast
Whole day out in Yorkshire Dales – Exploring a real cave system – Lead by High Adventure Staff Packed lunch provided by centre Complete final activity onsite Evening meal followed by evening talent show Friday 20th October High Ropes & Zip Wire challenge Lunch, then walk back to school. Children to be collected from school at the normal time of 3:30pm.

National Curriculum Learning Outcomes:
Children will take part in activities working in unfamiliar surroundings, with help from others they will solve problems and tackle the challenges Children will recognise similarities and differences between the Yorkshire Dales area and their home; they will be able to talk about physical & human features of the landscape, habitats & environmental issues. All children will have the opportunity to face new challenges like staying away from home maintain good relationships with group leaders, other adults and their classmates.

Children will need packed lunch for 1st day only. Food provided by High Adventure – menu based on their experience Bring water bottle & flask for day trips. Tuck shop available at the centre - £5 in change.
