Opportunities for Collaboration with MHWF
Formalize a state-wide program to educate high school students about various careers in the healthcare environment. E.g. What is a med tech and what education is needed? What healthcare careers have growth/promotional opportunities? Help fund educational programs to train nurses for faculty positions Continue to work with Joan Dolan on apprentice opportunities across the State Help fund programs that offer financial assistance to healthcare employees who need to complete degrees and have been identified as high potentials Create a training program for Patient Service Reps to include Microsoft and spreadsheets. PRS jobs are much more complicated and technology- heavy now, requiring more than entry level skills.
