15th International ECHA Conference Talents in Motion-Encuraging the Gifted in the context of migration and Intercultural exchange March, Vienna, Ljiljana Krneta, PhD, Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Banja Luka, BiH

There are different theoretical models of giftedness, those:
Introduction There are different theoretical models of giftedness, those: Based on hereditary factors - genetic studies, (Mönks and Mason, 1993; Marland, 1997; Based on cognitive factors - Sternberg (1990,2001) Studying the student achievement (Renzulli, 1986, Koren, 1989) Sistematic approaches (Tannenbaum, 1983; Heller, 1996;Gojkov, 2006, 2012 )
3
Introuction There is still no consensus on what it means to be gifted and different models have different identification strategies Some of the research in BH, last years, has been conducted on: - the status of gifted students in society and school in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Krneta,D. and Krneta, Lj.,2006, 2008) - gifted perceptions (Krneta,Lj. 2010, 2012, 2013.) - how to encourage gifted students (Krneta,D.,2014)
4
Method Empirical - nonexperimental research, transversal study
Survey and theoretical-comparative approach Research problem: - Is there difference in perception of present and vision of future between gifted and other studens? Two hypotesis: - There is a statisticaly significant difference in perception of present between gifted and other students - There is a statisticaly significant difference in vision of future between gifted and other students
5
METHOD Sample is stratified-purposive sample 1155 students primary (58,78%)and high school (42,22%) Bosnia and Herzegovina, 14-18 years old, 557 (48,22%)male 593(51, 56%) female Dwelling:vilage, small town, big town

INSTRUMENTS Scale teacher is working efficiency perception –was constructed according to the model of Likert scale It is fave levels scale, consisted 16 statmens, Scale is designed for research purposes Questionnaire for students (designed for the purpose of this research with questions regarding students socio-economic status, gender, school achivement from current and last school year...) The test of general intelligence F-2: two groups, on the basis of IQ tests:low and high results. Test IQ:was applied wich is based on perceptual speed, more or less complex visual structures.

RESULTS AND DISSCUSION
Results of discriminant analysis indicate that are significant differences in the perception of the teachers working efficiency between students from different levels of intellectualabilities. Differences between students with low and high intelectual abilities are related to the following operating characteristic of the teachers:“Does not make a differences among students“,Contributes to the overall development of students personality“, Serve as a role model for students, „Knows his own profession,
10
Results and disscusion
„Successfully transfers knowladge to students“. Students who have high intellectual abilities often perceive that an effective teacher needs to“ Successfully transfer the knowledge“. The results proved the starting hypotesis that there are differences in the perception of the performance of effective teachers with respect to the intellectual abilities of students.

RESULTS AND DISSCUSION
Practical implications: the purpose of the research results is to bring about better understanding of the gifted and other students The results are specific for one point in time because of the transversal research Further research is needed in order to understand more the gifted and their positon in the society.
