What is vegetarianism? Vegetarianism is the practice of avoiding the consumption of animal flesh.

History of vegetarianism
The earliest records of vegetarianism come from ancient India in the 6th century BC. the diet was closely connected with the idea of nonviolence towards animals.

The Establishment of Vegetarian Societies
In 1847, the first Vegetarian Society was founded in the United Kingdom, and other countries followed. In 1908, The International Vegetarian Union, was founded.

Semi-Vegetarians Vegetarians Vegans

Semi-Vegetarians Not completely vegetarians, but they eat less meat than usual. Some Semi-vegetarians might not eat red meat (Beef). But Wouldn’t mind eating white meat (Chicken, fish).

Vegetarians People who exclude meat in their diets.
For example, cheese and milk.
