6 RHS Volleyball Policies
Player Policies Maintain academic eligibility and abide by RHS Athletic code. Attend all team functions (practice, matches, tournaments, meetings, volunteer & fundraising events, etc). Be on-time. Provide necessary equipment: T-shirts (no tank tops or cut out shirts), shorts, volleyball shoes and knee pads. Jersey, Navy Spandex and team socks for matches. Running shoes for conditioning No Drama, No Gossip, No Bullying. This includes on-line, social media,. Meet / exceed your volunteer requirements.

7 RHS Volleyball Policies
Playing Time and Team Movement Playing time is NOT guaranteed at any level. Players can and will be moved up or down across teams based on injuries, team needs, performance and attitude. Players may practice with one team but play at a different level. Conflict Resolution Players are encouraged to talk to program captains and/or their coaches to resolve issues. No discussions with parents regarding playing time. Meetings with coaches to discuss an issue other than playing time must include player and parent. No s related to conflicts/issues.

8 RHS Volleyball Policies
General Parent Policies Support your daughter in whatever role they have with the team and program. Allow coaches to coach. Respect coaches, players, officials, and other parents. No gossiping at home, in the stands, or at events. Volunteer and participate.

9 RHS Volleyball Policies
Injuries Trainer, Ashley Bethke, is available Daily from 2:30-5:30, and available at all home JV and varsity games. Players need to advise coaches of any injuries. If any athlete goes to the doctor, we need a note from the doctor clearing them to play/practice. Players must practice day before a match. Ashley’s contact information is found on the RHS school website. Located under the athletics tab, then click on athletic trainer. Orthopedic is available weekly.

10 RHS Volleyball Policies
Volunteering The success of our program is heavily dependent on player and parent commitment to fundraising efforts. Players Required number of volunteer events based on team placement. Required volunteer events Cub Bagging Presidents Day Available events are on website. Volunteer Log is on website. If they did not meet their requirements last season they must meet 2016 requirements this season as well as 2017. Parents Need parents to work home game concessions. Help with program events Youth night Senior night Etc. Available events are on website. Parent concessions work can be applied to player requirements.

11 Transportation 9th Grade: Bus to and from most matches
Bus to ISD 196 schools, no bus home. 10/JV/V Bus to most matches Bus home after some Varsity Games. Players are required to take bus. Limited Busing to tournaments. Bus schedule is available on RHS Program Info Page.

12 Financing RHS Volleyball
School District provides funds for: Gym time Game Refs Part of Coaching staff, transportation, tournament fees. This budget has been reduced or stayed flat every year over the past 7 years. Booster Club provides funds for: Uniforms (Jersey, socks, Practice T, Backpacks, Additional items) Equipment (Nets, balls, carts, etc.) Events (Game events, team building, Alumni Game, etc.) Remainder of Tournament fees and Coaching staff. Volleyball program budget is not related to or associated with RHS Sports registration fees.

13 How You & Boosters Help Our non-profit Booster Club encourages more FANS in the stands and raises additional FUNDS necessary to run the RHS Volleyball program Sponsoring Event Nights at Home Games and Youth Events Facilitating apparel order and delivery Donating approx. $12,000 per season to RHS Volleyball operations Primary funding sources include: Player Fees (indicated on registration and order form) Player and Parent Volunteer Commitments that raise money (Cub bagging, camps, clinics, tournaments, intramurals, Queens) Program Ad Sales (including your “Love Notes”) Meetings are first Monday of each month, 7:00 pm at T.O.P.S. Pizza. All Parents are welcome NOTE: YOUR 2017 *UPDATED* REGISTRATION AND ORDER FORM IS DUE TONIGHT AT THE BACK TABLE
