One of the most important information that you will need to know is your Island ID. Your IslandID is your username to accessing your grades, registering for class, using the wireless network, logging onto the computers and even getting access to you class assignments. Your IslandID is made up normally by your first initial, last name and series of numbers. Please remember that your IslandID is different than your Student ID which starts with an A and is referred to on campus sometimes as your A number.

Changing passwords is never fun, forgetting your passwords are even less fun. Having to wait in line or on the phone to get your password is… Well you guessed it NOT AT ALL FUN. But if you do this one thing, we promise that you will not have to worry about your passwords ever again! Just make sure you have your account recovery info setup with your current cell and alternative address. Then if you do run into any passwords issues, you can get it changed on your own. Passwords.tamucc.edu can be accessed from any where both on or off campus, and is your portal for handling your password issues.
