Supplier Performance Management (SPM): Responding to a Survey
Survey Recipient When surveys are created to evaluate a supplier’s performance, you may be asked to participate or respond to the survey. If so, you will receive an notification that you have been invited to participate in an “Event” or Survey. To access the survey, click the link provided in the . You can also find any surveys that you need to complete in the To Do portlet on your Ariba dashboard. Survey Recipient The survey owner or creator will establish a time limit for the entire survey. When you access the survey, you will see how much time remains on the survey in the top right corner. The Event Contents panel, to the left, contain sections specific to your area of focus. To skip ahead to a specific content area, click the content title. Read and respond to the survey questions by selecting a value from the list or entering a number or text in the response field. Enter your answers for each question. The Asterisk indicates that this is a required question and must be answered before you can submit the survey. 4 4 5 5 7 Response is Required 6 6 7 Page 2

Survey Recipient Click the call out icon to add comments or attachments. Note that not all questions will allow you add comments/attachments. Be aware that there is a 30 minute inactivity time out period. If you have entered some of the survey responses and need finish the survey at a later time click Save. This will save your responses as a draft. While saved as a draft, your responses will not be visible to the survey owner or other participants Once you have completed all of the questions that require a response from you, and you are ready for submission, select the blue Submit Entire Response button. 8 8 9 10 10 9 Page 3

Survey Recipient Before the survey is submitted you will receive a confirmation box verifying this is the action you want to complete. If it is, select OK. If you need to make changes once you have submitted your responses you are able to do so as long as there is time remaining on the survey clock. Access the survey and then click the Revise Response button at the top of the survey. 11 11 12 12 Page 4
