It hopes to bring ACTION for those who may not have a voice, it hopes to level the playing field in which we live in so that everyone has an EQUAL chance at survival

International Imports– take money away from local people (fishermen etc)
Why would hotels import rather than buy local?
Local food keep locals employed and able to create a decent QOL for themselves and families
They are able to practice what they know best and use their knowledge to help the tourist and in the hotel give the authentic experience!
Buying local keeps the native economy stable!

16. The Planet
Keeping it local means that people (the natives) have more say in how their land will be used and what aspects are conserved or developed
Tourists and tourism brings a lot of waste management issues, learning from the traditional ways of natives may help
Natives have a say in what NATURAL sites are to conserved etc.
