3 SIMPLE STEPS: (SEATED SLING)
Apply appropriate slings Attach sling to the bar Inter-loop leg straps Hoist patient up Position patient to desired location Unhook sling

4 SIMPLE STEPS: (REPO SHEET)
Max inflate bed Patient must be centered on the sheet Attach straps to the bar Hoist patient up Boost / reposition / turn patient

5 SIMPLE STEPS: (MULTI-STRAPS)
Used for lifting & holding parts of patients body to facilitate examination, care & treatment. Used for turning sideways Apply straps under the body part Attach loops to the sling bar Hoist patient up

6 SIMPLE STEPS: (AMBULATION SLINGS)
Assess patient’s mobility Apply appropriate slings Attach slings to the bar Use Arm Rest Patient’s feet must have sufficient contact with the floor Image of Ambulation with Golvo (sling not currently available) Examples of Current Slings

10 When To Use Golvo Mod to Max Assist Patients
Repositioning, Turning, Boosting, Transfers (Supine<>Sit ; Bed<>Chair/Commode ; Lateral Bed<>Gurney), Ambulation Do not use SEATED SLING for patient with spine & hip precautions Do not use on combative patients

11 IN CASE OF EMERGENCY… If battery runs out while patient is being lifted, there are emergency features: Mechanical Emergency lowering Electrical Shut-off

12 FRIENDLY REMINDERS: (BRAKES & CHARGING)
Brakes are only applied during: FALL RECOVERY UNEVEN SURFACES Red Button: Pushed IN for Emergency Shut Off Pull OUT to Charge & Use

13 MORE FRIENDLY REMINDERS:
Charge Golvo when not in use RED Shut-Off Button must be out when charging Golvo operates when unplugged Bar may swing = KEEP an EYE on the BAR! Notify Unit Manager if Broken Call Atlas Lift Coach for training and/or assistance ext ; 0700 – days/week
