Interpretative task (Monday)
Interpret data on the use of social media in France, and watch the first minute of a video explaining the real meaning of FaceBook status updates.
Interpersonal task (Wednesday + Thursday)
Engage in a short debate on a question relating to social media sites.
Presentational task (Friday)
Prepare your social media profile and learn about your classmates by reading and listening to theirs. Prepare a script and be prepared to read it in two minutes. Bring a visual: a photo, an illustration, an object, etc. Check spelling and grammar.

Associate the phrases to their best definition. Use visual cues from the illustration, cognates (i.e., similarities between French and English), and vocabulary you learned so far to help you. (20 points – estimated completion time: 10 minutes)
