As part of its mission to match job seekers with potential employers, Egomnia wanted to make sure those looking for jobs had resumes that would showcase their talents to hiring managers in the best possible way. Egomnia knew most of its job seekers used the word processor in Microsoft Office, Word, for resume creation, but it also knew that not everyone was skilled at writing and formatting this critical document.

SOLUTION
To make the resume creation process easier, Egomnia created Curriculum Vitae Builder, an Office Add-in for Word. This Office integration adds a task pane in Word that’s activated by an Add-in command in the ribbon that asks the user to input data about their credentials like academic background, certifications, work experience, study abroad, and more. The Add-in then adds structured content automatically to the Word document using the office.js library to produce a comprehensive, professional-looking resume in just a short time, without the need for extensive document formatting skills.
