LIFE PHASES
Talking about phases of a life is not an easy thing, after all every being is unique and each has its own timing. Perhaps, could it help drawing a parallel between such human phases with moon's? So, let's see:
The new moon would be the moment of our birth until we complete 10 years old. This is the stage of our lives in which everything is new. We begin first with the act of learning to breathe, then to eat and to drink, to crawl, trying to stand upright and to walk. We start to mumble a few words and before you notice it we are talking too much. It's the beginning of "why?" era. Have you seen that since we're very young we crave an explanation for everything? And how come is that after past several years in our lives, people still ask us something without telling us why the requests? Afterwards, we start to live together with other beings, it is the time to go to classes. Here starts the real social contact with each other, because until then was the "family protection", our foundation. And it is from this experience that will form the character we will carry for the rest of our lives, according to some scholars. At this stage, things are still very childish, and many of our questions are still unclear. Let us move now to a new phase.
In the crescent phase, we could associate the range from 11 to 21 years old. There are more questions, some are answered by ourselves and we begin to discover ourselves as individuals. We discovered the desire, malice, deceit, betrayal, perversion, love, hate and we sail on the waves of the 7 deadly sins. It is also the phase in which we decide what we want to be in the future; there comes one of the most fearful stages of the human being because this choice can determine what will be our way to the end of our days. Not that this is an unbreakable rule, because changing is something that can happen at any stage of life, depends only on ourselves, we have the courage to "start it all over."
Then comes the full moon, which can be compared to the range of 22 to 60 years old. This would be the stage of our growth as a human being, as a professional, as an individual who will have a family and act as a protagonist and no longer as supporting cast. Much of this phase depends on the previous stage, as we said. Here is the stage of the pleasures or miseries, profit or loss, peace or war, in short is the stage of antagonism, but also the courage to choose another path. And to get in some steps of this phase we will know what awaits us for the last stage which is waning.
This phase is where we think it all ends. It is the stage of old age which we experience and that surely will bring us either peace to "reap good fruits grown on irrigated land" or "the scarcity of poorly fertilized land, acidic". At this stage, we depend more on the wind to drive our sailboat than the engine. And, wisely, life teaches us how to survive there, but unlike many who think that at this stage we are terminals such as the phases of the moon we will return some day to be born again as a new being.
