Chapter 1 - Cruiser safety - cruiser and check cruiser will use estimates if safety concerns can’t be reasonably mitigated. Section (1)a & – Housekeeping, clarify measure/count standard for clear-cut and selection in the Interior. Section (7)b - Housekeeping. Section (9) - Housekeeping. Section Housekeeping. Section (4) - The reference to border plots is removed.

Section All cruise plans changes must meet the intent of the cruise plan standards. Section (1)I - Emphasis that walkthrough plots are the only plot type for sampling near harvest area boundaries. Section (5)a/b & (6) - Housekeeping. Clarification that missing or extra damage codes constitute incorrect cruise data. Section 4.6.2(4)c,I - Column 13 of the % reduction input will be used for live (L) and dead (D) trees for CGNF and Loss Factor cruises.

Section 6.3.1, Harvesting Method - Harvesting method code HC (heli-clearcut) will be listed for the interior only. Tables - Table 4 - New stump to Dbh equation taper equation constants will be implemented for several species in the QCI PSYU. Table 17 – Mapview - The Mapview utility access directions will be updated. Table 17 – Add FIZ D to the Salmon Arm PSYU to ensure continuity with Mapview. Table 17 – Other Tenures - Replace the wording in #3 to ensure continuity between the FIZ and PSYU numbers in the E&N Lands. Table 18 - Correct the age range for K and L Cottonwood to read 1-40 years.

Appendix 2 - Updated magnetic declination for key locations in British Columbia. Appendix 3 - Housekeeping - remove the reference to MSRM maps. Appendix A Update the second sentence to state that conk and blind conk are to be called on all live and dead potential trees on the coast and Lodgepole pine trees in the interior. Appendix A Add “(Risk Group 2)” beside the Green, Red and Grey attack code definitions.
