7. ISD Grading Project
Goal: The purpose of our reporting system is to describe a student’s current level of academic proficiency.
Letter Grade based 100% on Summative Assessments (exams, projects, labs)
Criterion based grading (3,2,1) for non-achievement (work habits, citizenship, collaboration, and initiative)

If You Earn a Writing Assignment
Due at the beginning of class the following day and must contain a parent/guardian’s signature.
If the assignment is not turned in at the beginning of class the next day with a parent/guardian’s signature, the student will be required to work on the assignment during lunch at Catch-up Café.
If the complete assignment is still not turned in at the beginning of class the next day with a parent/guardian’s signature, the student will receive an infraction.

We use it in emergencies
To keep us from going blind

Or wrap it around us
Either way, the flames expire
