Erasmus + Project rationality • Environmental situation in Ukraine determines needs for development of holistic system of flexible environmental education capable to train well educated specialists; • Qualifications frameworks (NQF and SQF) are important instruments for: - development of relevant competencies of graduates; - recognition of qualifications; - cooperation of educational system with labour market • Ukrainian HE system requires implementation of NQF and competence-based approach to study programmes; • SQF are considered as a bridge: - between NQF and study programmes; - between educational system and labor market

Analyses of existing standards and methodologies of Qualifications Frameworks development; 2. Qualifications Framework for Environmental Science for Ukrainian Universities; 3. Training courses on developing and implementing new study programmes

Erasmus + NQF: current summary (1) • National Qualifications Framework (NQF) was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine 23 November 2011; • NQF covers 2 types of qualifications - educational and professional (occupational); • NQF does not contain qualifications now; • The new structure of educational qualifications is established and linked to NQF; • Educational qualifications must be based on HE standards
