ATC: Alfagomma Top Coat
According to continuous improvement or our products and performances Alfagomma in cooperation with Tecnochimica (Official distributor of chemicals Columbia) developed the EXCLUSIVE ATC (Alfagomma Top Coat) technology designed specifically for use in challenging environments, this innovative coating provides several performance advantages, when compared with conventional coating technologies. ATC is a Cr6+ free high performance zinc plating coating with a cover thickness between 12µ and 14µ (average) focused for hydraulic applications. We have chosen a global partner to be able to support our global Customers. This coating with a customized sealant application process provides protective performance comparable to far more costly coatings and substrates with corrosion resistance (white/red) similar to the zinc nickel treatment: 500h white rust and 1000h red rust Scope and application: Alfagomma Top coat (ATC) can be used in both barrel and frame plating processes and for every hydraulic and component (fittings, ferrules, quick couplings, rigid tubes) and the goal is to have a reliable and repeatable results in term of protection and salt spray resistance.

Coating technology Benchmarking: Standard Zinc plating process
Zinc Nickel Alfagomma Top Coat Test done according to ASTM B117 on not crimped parts. Visually ATC coating has a similar aspect to Zinc Nickel that allow customer to distinguish from standard zinc plating coating.

Remark: After tightening, ATC exhibited exceptional interfacial adhesion and outstanding impact resistance, with almost no micro-cracking, chipping and zero delamination.
