7 Which Site Does What Affinity moving to Blue Star
Registration for all CalNorth players and teams handled here This site produces your Goldenrod/Official roster and passes Some clubs are part of registration league ie.Redwood League or Foothill League CalNorth.org Resource site for all CalNorth leagues and programs (ie. Insurance information, Coaching resources, State Cup, ODP, playing rules, forms, etc.) Passes now have liability waivers on the back. If passes are signed on the back and laminated, this can be used without a 1601. 11 How to Use : Chat GotSoccer "Chat" function
Log into your team account, click on "CCSL 2017 Coast/Bay Spring League" Click on "Schedule"   Next to each game, there is a blue "Chat" button  Click on the button, type your message and hit send  Most important, click the red "Notify Team" button      This is not the right place to communicate any issues that are urgent (i.e. The field has been closed the night before due to a sinkhole.  In these cases, please contact the opponent by every means possible until you reach someone) To join the audio call, dial in to (415) Conference ID

17 Referees and Send Offs Referees are independent contractors.
If a player or coach is sent off, the referee submits a report, the report goes to our Referee Adminstrator. He reviews the report and does any follow up needed, then issues the suspension in the system. To join the audio call, dial in to (415) Conference ID

20 Guest Rule The maximum number of guest players allowed is seven for teams playing 11v11 and five for teams playing 7v7 and 9v9. A player may be on a Match Report (including guest play) for a maximum of two CCSL matches per day A player may guest from a team that is in the same District as the team they are playing for To join the audio call, dial in to (415) Conference ID

21 Guest Rule (Cont…) Players may guest play on any team in any Division/bracket at their soccer age or older in spring. Spring League is developmental; standings do not factor into Fall placement (unless it benefits the team) and there are no awards for Bracket Champions. 22 Blowout Rule CCSL Spring League is a developmental season. Runaway or blowout scores are outside the spirit of the game and are discouraged by CCSL. Teams will have one (1) point deducted from their standings for a goal differential greater that seven (7). This applies to all teams in the spring. 23 Heading and Younger Players
Cal North has adopted heading protocols consistent US Soccer and US Youth Soccer mandates No heading for players 12 years old and younger in games Enforced in U13 and under games. To join the audio call, dial in to (415) Conference ID

24 Concussion Protocol A player who sustains a head injury and exhibits any symptoms of possible concussion may not return to games or team practice until cleared by Cal North under the current Cal North Concussion Protocols and Procedures. Coaches should also submit a CCSL Incident report for any potentially serious injury at Referees have the authority to confiscate the pass. To join the audio call, dial in to (415) Conference ID

25 Heat and Hydration When the temperature at a CCSL sanctioned match is 90 degrees Fahrenheit or greater, CCSL will authorize Player Hydration breaks. Hydration break procedures Prior to the start of play, either coach may submit a request to the referee for a hydration break. The referee will inform both teams of the request At a point near the middle of each half, when play has been stopped, the referee will announce the hydration break and players will be allowed the opportunity to go to the bench area for liquids for about 30 seconds. 26 Reschedules Valid Reasons for reschedule: Inclement weather
Field unplayable or unavailable as determined by club or league official Team in USYS or US Club weekend tournament or a Cal North State Cup Event ODP (Olympic Development Program) State tryouts SAT/ACT test date-valid to ask for afternoon game Before releasing schedules, we have already worked around tournament weekends, D2 Cups, SAT/ACT when possible, 49 games, Pumpkin Festival, Saturday only clubs, Sunday only clubs We want the kids to play soccer first and foremost Coach availability, team availability, etc are not valid reasons for a reschedule It is a request, not all clubs can honor it To join the audio call, dial in to (415) Conference ID

27 Reschedules Cont Game dates may not be changed without written consent from your opponent Once the time and location is posted, any additional change must be done with the opponent Sometimes, teams will agree to swap Home/Away.
