Czech drinks Some of the beer brands are world-famous
White and red wine planted in Czech vineyards are recommended Carlsbad Becher Liqueur and Moravian Slivovitz are popular, too

Czech beer brands Pilsner (pilsener or simply pils) is a type of pale lager It takes its name from the city of Pilsen, Bohemia, a bottom-fermented beer was first produced in 1842 The original Pilsner Urquell beer is produced there today

Czech wine The main wine – growing region is in Moravia
Some wine is also made in Bohemia, around Mělník and Litoměřice

Budweiser beer Budweiser – a German adjective
describing something or someone from the city of České Budějovice in Southern Bohemia Beer brewing dates back to the 13th century A few hundred years later two breweries were founded in the city – beer called „Budwieser“ In 1876 the US brewer began making a beer also called „Budweiser“ „Budweiser trademark dispute“ between three companies (Budweiser Bier Bürgebräu, Anheuser-Busch USA, Budweiser Budvar)
