Arsenic-contaminated Drinking Water. Workers of Industries use inorganic arsenic. Meat, Poultry and Fish : feed containing particular types of antibiotics. Rice.

Prevention : Arsenic Poisoning
Households having arsenic removal systems. Testing the water for traces of arsenic. Taking care when harvesting rainwater. Well depth - the deeper a well is dug, the less arsenic its water is likely to have. Awareness Program about the harmful effects of arsenic poisoning.

Arsenic poisoning in west Bengal
Comparatively High Risk : ground water arsenic concentrations above 0.05 mg/L in nine district. North Bengal is the worst sufferers of Arsenic Pollution. Programme to provide 'safe' drinking-water over the past 30 years have helped.
