5 Direct Satire Stating a direct criticism humorously This is the oldest and, historically, most common form of satiric writing.

13 Diminutization The portrayal of something perceived as important as something trivial/unimportant to show its unimportance. This mocks & satirizes both the self-importance of the fashion world as well as the at times self- serving charity work of celebrities

14 Exaggeration The portrayal of something trivial or unimportant as very important, usually to emphasize its triviality. This review exaggerates one specific element of the movie, using the criteria of a 7th grade girl.
