Ensure speaking and word pronunciation is corrected.
Model, correct and amend errors or misunderstandings in tense.
Expand vocabulary – and explain it!!
Look for spelling patterns and word associations around you.

Small group phonics two or three times each week.

Handwriting focussing on phonics and word groups.

11. Please remember To enjoy reading and writing with your children.
Some children will take longer than others to learn their sounds and start to read and write. Please don’t get anxious, they will get there when they are ready.
